My Star Rewards® is a reward system designed for parents (and caregivers) that focuses on encouraging good behavior. It rewards the positive daily achievements of children while adding a deterrent for undesirable behavior. You set the goals and corresponding star rewards and star penalties. The goals should be within the child’s abilities and age-appropriate. The collected star cards are redeemable by the child for items you and the child have agreed upon. The important thing is that you set the child’s goals, what behavior qualifies for stars, and how many stars are needed to get the different rewards.
