The Best Advice on Children's Products
Mythmatical Battles is a dueling card game for two players or two teams. It blends classic mythology and multiplication to create an innovative game that allows children to drill multiplication while learning mythology. Each deck has 55 cards featuring gods, heroes and monsters from Norse, Egyptian, Greek or Celtic mythology. Each card has one multiplication equation for its attack strength and one for defense. One deck contains multiplication equations from 1x1 to 9x9. Players take turns drawing cards from their decks, placing them to the field and challenging their opponent’s cards. The card with the highest product wins special cards and can change other card’s strengths. The game ends when one player’s deck exhausted. The player with the most in their Plunder Pile wins. This is a great way for children to brush up on or strengthen their math skills and learn about classic mythology from diverse cultures. The game was inspired by a father’s observations about his child’s obsession with dueling card games and is the first dueling card game with an education component. Each deck also includes and Adventure Card that does not affect game play but is a clue to a new story from Mythmatical Battles.
