Dabble is an exciting and challenging family game that provides hours of fun for two to four players or team play. At the core of the game lies a fast paced word game that will help children and adults develop many useful skills including vocabulary, spelling, and the ability to think quickly under pressure. The rules of the game are simple. Each player selects 20 tiles from the bag and tries to be the first person to spell 5 different words (of 2 letters, 3 letters, 4 letters, 5 letters, and 6 letters) within a five minute time frame. The first player to do this will win the round and score points for tiles left unused by his/her opponents. The first player to score 100 points wins the game. You can increase the points to win to 250 or 500 or 1000 depending on how long you want to play the game. To make the game a little easier for new spellers, simply remove or extend the timer or omit the 5 and 6 letter word requirement. Game contents include 142 lettered and point tiles, plus 6 additional tiles for game play in Spanish, 4 five-tier stadium style racks, sand timer, and rules of play in English and Spanish. Dabble was created by 84 year-old grandfather, George Weiss.
