The new LaQ Imaginal Zoo kit comes in a colorful lime-colored plastic container for easy clean-up and storage. Perfect to take anywhere for hours of LaQ fun wherever you go! Instructions are included to create a LaQ ZOO, or a large crazy colored Chameleon, or a pair of Macaws. The Imaginal Zoo kit is one of the largest kits so that 12 models can be made at once so a child can enjoy creating the models and playing with what he has created. The 12 models that can be created to complete the LaQ ZOO are: Elephant, Giraffe, Lion, Polar Bear, Rhinoceros, Hippopotamus, Alligator, Water Buffalo, Flamingo, Penguin, Zoo Keeper amp; Feeders, and a Zoo Patrol Car. The Imaginal Zoo Kit includes 1,320 colorful block parts, Hamacron Mini Wheels and Shaft Parts, and the new LaQ Playmat, for hours of creative play at home, and on vacation! The Playmat is reversible and is to be used as a Zoo or a town.
The LaQ is an innovative toy block that can be enjoyed by the entire family. LaQ consists of 7 types of blocks in 10 different colors. There are 2 types of base parts, a square and a triangle, and 5 types of joint parts. These 7 types of blocks can create flat, 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, and spherical models.
The "Q" (kyuu) in LaQ means "sphere" in Japanese, as LaQ parts can SNAP! and CLICK! together to create a spherical model from colorful toy blocks! Everyone who plays with the product enjoys hearing the snapping sound, which allows them to confirm that the parts are firmly connected. Children can start out with the flat parts to make simple models, then learn that by adding an angled joint part, the model becomes 2 dimensional, and with the clever 120 degree angled block, create spherical and geometrical shapes.
All LaQ kits are made in Japan and have passed safety standard testing for CE, ASTM, EN, CCC, ST, CPSIA safety standards.
