Laser Pegs is the first toy construction set in the world in which each piece feeds the next piece low voltage current. Your young engineer can construct models or creatively build anything they want with the Laser Pegs™. They can be used lit up or turned off. Once one peg is connected to a power source it then illuminates any other peg it is connected with. The first 72-piece kit comes with three AAA batteries and 72 pegs. A high quality LED will run about 100,000 hours. Therefore, each Laser Peg™ piece has a very long life expectancy. The batteries will supply the models current; however, the useful life of the batteries is determined by how many Laser Pegs are attached to the power base. This is the world’s newest and most innovative set of toy building blocks.
The optional 5-volt AC adapter is not included. If you choose to use an AC adapter, remove all batteries from the power supply before plugging the unit into a wall.
