A unique card game based on a classic Stops Game play pattern. Easy to learn and play, this card game teaches and builds on number sequencing with an exciting train theme. A portion of the game is luck-based, so it is appropriate for younger children, however the more you play, the more strategy you can implement which keeps the game enjoyable for parents. The basic game involves dealing out cards and beginning with a "Station" card. From the Station, a player can build up or down on the same color, or introduce a new color Station. If you can't play, you must pay the conductor a ‘train fare' and draw a card. To be strategic, you can hold off playing a Station card, so no one can play on that color. Another strategy approach lies in the Specialty Cards. The first is the "Free Ride" card which is a basic substitution card. The fun part is if, let's say someone used the "Free Ride" card to substitute a blue 9. You actually are holding the Blue 9. For your turn, you can pick up the "Free Ride" and replace it with the real blue 9, thereby taking the "Free Ride" card for yourself Th e second Specialty Card is the "End of Line" card which basically stops the direction of a specific train line to reverse order of the cards or, in essence, wrapping the cards/numbers in the opposite direction. This is very exciting for players because just when you think you have an easily played card, such as that 8, someone turns the whole line around, making your card one of the worst!. The game includes 58 game cards, 100 Train Fares (translucent bright blue molded ‘coins'), game rules, and a simple molded storage tray for the components.
