Action Figure - Robot
Alright, I'm pretty good at finding information. I've found everything on every toy or show I ever cared to look up from my childhood. There is however 1 figure I can't find any intel on. In 1993 I saw a cheap plastic white robot (with I believe a black head and silver face) figure that came with a complete set of removable battle armor(also white). The Box had a clear plastic cover so you could see the product, the robot was not in the armor, the armored suit was displayed beside the robot figure. I remember the primary color of the figure was white. I saw this figure in a Toys R Us I believe in Sahvannah Georga, while traveling with my parents. The year was 1993 because it was also the same year that the Alien and renegade Predator (by Kenner) combo set was released, those being popular toys, I was easily able to find the production date on them. I decided to buy that instead, as they were the most movie accurate figures of those 2 series. However, if I had known that I would have never seen that white toy robot with removable battle armor again, I would have gotten that instead. I never saw it again, in any toy store. I searched Toys R Us and Kay-Bee, but never saw it again. Prehaps it only released in certain states. I have tried searching Toys R Us records and 1993 Toy list, I have lost this battle and have come to the conclusion that I cannot find this product. I fear I will never know the name of that robot figure. I will donnate $100.00 if you can find the name of this 1993 action figure I saw in a Toys R Us.

Aircraft carrier
Around 1977 I had a plastic WWII aircraft carrier about 3 feet that launched propeller airplanes by 2 different methods (this was not hand held). One was by elastic and the other was by pulling back on a yellow stick shift that moved the plane down the middle of the carrier on a slide. When the slide hit the end of the deck the plane launched. Can't remember the name and where to find one. I have searched ebay and the internet with no luck. Any ideas?

Alien Dinosaur - 1970's (1978ish)
Electronic, Multi - legged Alien Dinosaur with light sensor in its chest. I had this awesome toy when I was 6. It was a green alien reptile with 6 or 8 legs and would crawl towards you unless you shot it in the chest with a hand held light. It reminded me of Tundro from the Herculoids. I'm begging to know more... I'm going nuts!!! Thanks.

alphabet blocks - Mattel Tuff Stuff - 1970's
I have 59 Tuff Stuff alphabet blocks, multiples of some letters but am missing the letter Y. How much would these be worth today? I've seen a 26 letter set on Ebay for $70 and the auction hadn't closed yet. Are they more valuable because they aren't missing a letter? Mine are in used condition.

Alphabet Hand Puppet
I'm desperately searching for a red dog hand puppet with the big and lower case "D" in his outh (he has white ears with black spots) and a green alligator hand puppet with the upper and lower case "A" in his mouth. They were two of a set of 26 animal hand puppets, each with a different letter in the mouth. I purchased the set from FAO Schwartz 2002 Christmas catalog; in my search, I see that they were sold at Lilian Vernon but that they are no longer in stock.

I'm looking for a baby blanket I had when I was little. It was blue with a single cow on it and had little flowers all over it with ruffled edges. It was sort of like a quilt but came in a crib set. It is from about 1989. I have a picture of the one I have that is very tatered and faded if that would help at all. I'm not sure who made it. possibly JcPenney. If I could figure this out that would help me in my search to locate one in better condition.

Battery operated airplane
Hello, I have been searching for quite some time for a battery operated airplane I had as a young boy in the late 60's. I'm not sure of the manufacturer but it could be Marx. I think it was either a P40 or P47 WWII plane. It had 3 buttons on top and each one would operate the propeller, the wheels would go up and down, the guns would make noise.

Bizarre relative to hula hoop
What was a toy from the 60s that was a sort of a bizarre relative to the hula hoop....it was a pole with a big pair of plastic hands attached to each end--two people were supposed to put the hands on their stomachs and lean in and move around to make something attached to the middle of the pole spin around.

BLACK VINYL BABY DOLL
In the early 50's I was given a black rubber baby doll with painted face and hair. I am guessing she was about 8-10 inches long with movable arms and legs. I believe she was a drinking/wetting doll. I called her my 'amos sandra' doll because that was stamped on the back of her neck. I would love to find out anything about this doll.

Large Scale Toy Stage Coach
Hello Sir,I am trying to find a needle in a very large haystack it seems. I would be greatful for any assistance you may be kind enough to offer me. I had a neighbour who in Circa 1968/1971/2/3 was given quite a large plastic Stage Coach and approximately 4 Horses. The coach its self was approximately 8/9 cm in length and approximately 8cm standing on its wheels.Approximately 7/7 cm wide and was pale in colour almost caramel, wheels were dark. It was a solid object, excellent quality, heavey plastic, opening doors with solid hinges and coloured seats . The quality of finnish was superb as I remember, it had a working suspension. We were a very poor family at that time and anything of such quality was a pipe dream for me. After some months he loaned it to me for a week and intrusted it to my care. For a whole week, aware of a limited time in my site, I stayed awake all night long almost the whole week and claimed to be sick for 2 days just to allow me time to take in and enjoy something so amazing ane beautiful , you see for one week, it was mine.I have searched website after website and followed evey option to seach for .... Collectable Stage Coach 1960s.... Large Plastic Staqe coach 1960s/1970s... ect, in the hope that somewhere out there may be a surviving example as I am sure many were made. I have no idea what make it was or if his grandmother bought it from the United States on her travels or bought in London at that time. could you please help a young boy, deep inside who once dreamed of one day owning a coach such as this. it has haunted me for over 30 years as I was approximately 7/8 at that time and am now 46 years old.

Late 1980's Pink Teddy Bear and Pink Elephant With Squeaker (bear does NOT have a squeaker)
I have a bear and an elephant who were both most likely sold in the mid to late 1980's. They are cotton candy pink and the bear has half moon shaped ears and a half moon shaped tail that stuck out from the body. She sits upright and her legs are straight, but move outward towards the outer sides of her body to form feet (this is slight. it is much the same way as some cloth dolls who have painted on shoes.) I think her body may be slightly pear shaped. She has a hot pink heart that is velvety to the touch (it is plastic and I can feel a peg-like back to it through the fabric. It is the same as the noses on some other stuffed animals: it is covered with a fine layer of...flocking?...like similar to the so soft my little ponies. lol) on the left side of her chest. The material she is made of is light pink plush, and it is not super short, but not long either. She has fake black eyes that have light brown or brownish grey irises. Her nose and mouth are made of black yarn. Her tag is not on the butt, rather it is on the outermost side of one of her legs. There are several pieces of fabric that were stitched together to create this bear: four for the abdomen { call this her abdomen: (l). the middle line is the stitching. It's the same on her back. Of course, she was stitched up the sides too. Her head appears to be comprised of two separate pieces of fabric that were sewn together and then added to the body. The stitching goes around her neck in a circle. The same is true of the arms and legs [they are two pieces of fabric that were stitched together and then added to the body]. This description matches that of the elephant as well. However, she had white ear insides and white feet that folded up against her body (the backs of both the ears and feet were pink though, so they were not white all over). Also I'm not sure what her stitching was like. Whenever you shook the elephant she would squeak, via a hard box like mechanism inside her abdomen. She has an elastic loop on her head. Also, she did NOT have the heart on her chest that the bear has. She also does not have colored irises (just small black eyes) The bear measures to be about 16 inches and the elephant measures to be about 6 inches, give or take a little. I do not know the maker of either the bear or elephant because the tags are worn and completely white from washing. I would be extremely appreciate if anyone could give me any information if they know of similar sounding toys. I am desperate to find out the maker (I am pretty sure it was the same one for both of them).

Music Box - Baby In a Crib
When I was in preschool in the early 90s I had a music box that I haven't seen in years. It was a white crib with a baby sitting up in it, and had next to it sat some stacking circles and a teddy bear. The material that the baby sat on was pink and white plaid, and I think I remember some lace. The turnkey was on the bottom of the crib, and there was a little metal plug on one of the crib ends that would stop the music if you pushed it in. The baby in the crib would 'bounce' up and down with the music (very slowly, as I remember). All the components of this music box were wooden and appeared hand painted. I'm sure it was given to me by an older family member, because even when I had it, it looked a bit worn. Perhaps the 70s?

Orange and purple bear with reversible head from 1992 - 1994 (somewhere in there)

And I know it was purchased between 1992 and 1994. I also that they paid twelve dollars for it. It also had claws that were coved by a piece of cloth that folded back. It basically transformed from a cut bear to a scary bear with claws and teeth. It was a stuffed animal. Do you have any idea what it was?

Outdoor large plastic toy
1960's/70's toy. Multicolored three piece plastic wheel that you could sit in and ride down a hill (It wasn't hi tech. When you rode down a hill you did somersaults right along with the wheel.) It came apart and then could be re configured to make a slide, or a teeter totter. The three pieces were curved and were similar to tongue and groove in the way they connected. As I recall the tongue portion was shaped like the tip of an arrow. When assembled as a wheel, it stood probably 3 to 3.5 feet tall (Diameter.) It was maybe 18 to 24 inches wide, and the thickness of the pieces were probably around 4 to 5 inches. My sisters used to call it the rolly polly but they are sure that wasn't the real name. I have searched it about a thousand ways and find nothing. The more I think about it, it may have been four pieces not three.

I loved the game dearly, and was dismayed when the box melted too much on a radiator where someone (not me!) had placed it. I don't remember the manufacturer's name. We might guess Mattel, Hasbro, or Milton Bradley. Any ideas about the name of this toy, or where I might look to purchase a vintage toy like this?

Play set with figurine
I think the set was out late 80's or 90's the action figure with the set was a man that had a gray hat, brown hair, dark blue torso, exposed muscular arms with brown gloves on the hands. The hands had small holes in order to hold items, neither the hat or the gloves were removable. The legs were light blue and had boots covering the feet, I think they were brown in color and did not come off. The arms moved and the legs bent at the waist. I have a rocking horse from the 1950's that I would like to fix. It has a big crack on the seat and I currently have it duct taped. It is also missing a chunk of the front legs. I believe it it made out of some type of resin. It stands on wood and is attached with springs. I would love to fix it for my new twin grandchildren. My husband is very handy if anyone has any ideas on how to repair it. I also would be willing to have someone fix it if it didn't cost too much. Please help!

Riding Toy - 19070's Chopper style trike
I'm trying to remember the name of an early to mid-seventies chopper style trike that I had as a kid in northern Ohio. It was metal frame, possibly painted with a flame job. It had a high backed black bucket seat, large solid rubber on metal spoked front wheel with the pedals on the front wheel, and as I mentioned "chopper" style front forks. I seem to remember a "3" on the front of the neck, but I could be wrong on that.

Singing Typewriter Toy, 1970's
I'm looking for a toy I had as a kid in the 1970's. It was a singing typewriter, that had little plastic muppet like characters. You would hit the key and they would open their mouth and sing a note. I seem to remember the "typewriter" was like an orange color, maybe yellow keys, and the muppets were all different colors. It was a toddler/preschool toy. Any idea what this was called? I really loved that toy and want to track another one down. Thanks!

Single AA Battery Monster trucks
In the mid-eighties I had many small 10-15cm trucks/cars, the chassis was largely the same, had a simple switch and a place to slot in a single aa battery. The top would clip on and where from memort largly monster trucks and the like. They would drive in a straight line and climb stuff. Really happy memories of playing with them but I can't remember what they were called, any idea?

Soft Plastic Squeeze Gun?
It was from the mid 1970's. I do not know the maker. It was a soft-plastic, pliable, hollow hand-held and the size of 10-14 year-olds hand red gun. You would put inside the red gun a yellow ping pong size ball, though it could really be any color, it just came with yellow ones. When you squeezed the base the balls shot out. They were great to play with. My cousins and I played with them at my grandparents house and are now trying to locate them, but we have no idea what they are called. Please let me know if you can help or need any more information. Thanks.

spinning ballerina and magnetic mirror - very small, possibly made in china, circa 1950's or 60.s
When I was small, I had a simple toy. It was a small mirror about two inches and it came with a little ballerina. When you moved the mirror near the ballerina, it would spin. I recently saw one in the movie DOUBT. It was a toy that the priest gave to a student. Can you tell me about it and can I still buy one.

TRACING DISC - CARTOON
During the 1970s, my aunt had a set of (I think) 6 plastic discs, about 4 inches across. You would tack this disc through some drawing paper into a piece of cardboard. You would make a mark at the top of the paper and turn the disc to position 1 and trace the cutout marked "1." Then you would rotate the disc to position 2 and trace cutout 2 and so on. At the end you would remove the tack and disc. Underneath there would be a completed drawing/cartoon. It was the coolest thing ever!!! But no one seems to have heard of it. What was this called? Is there anyplace I could obtain a set of these that you know of?

Trying to identify doll by Drei M Puppen
Sorry, having trouble with your data entry form. Hope you can help me identify a doll I found at a yard sale last week. Seller said doll had belonged to her grandmother. Still in "new" condition, doll is just over 12" tall; has rooted brown hair; blue sleep eyes and is fully dressed in cotton panties; sheer yellow dress/white flocked flowers/shoes and socks . . . and still has her Drei M Puppen hang tag attached. Thanks to the internet, I probably have enough background on both the company and Marta Maar, but am trying to identify the doll (by name) . . . year of production and type of material. Display box (if she had one) was not available, but she did have her original cardboard carton, wih slits and one remaining piece of ribbon that might have held her in place. Markings on the doll included 3M logo and 1400-32. (Box is imprinted: Made in W. Germany 4888/84.) Original sale tag shows she was offered for $3.49 but later reduced to $2.49. . . Can't tell if her torso and limbs are hard plastic or celluloid. Because of seam down he outside of leg I thought she might be the latter, until I read that celluloid were banned around the 1950s. . . Any thoughts on what I might have here and her current value?

various wood toy figures made in spain
We have a variety of wood toy figures from our childhood (Late 60's early 70's). There are Three little pigs and the big bad wolf that have springs for the neck and wrists that make the heads and hands move like a bobble head. There are also wooden owls, storks, dogs, cats, antelope, kangaroos, elephants, turtles and donkeys. They are all have the same stamp on the bottom. The stamp appears to say "Vila Made in Spain Patentada" (might be Patentaga or Patentaqa). Some are painted wood and some are natural wood. We are trying to get more information on them and would like to know if they are worth anything. We have looked on the internet with no luck so far. Thank you!

What the name of this toy where triangle and square could be clipped together to make rigid 3D shapes?
I'm trying to find out the name of a building set that consisted of plastic geometric shapes (squares and triangles) that would clip together on the edges. once connected, you could join them back onto themsleves to create elaborate 3D shapes that were rigid. For example a square with four triangles of each edge could be brough together to make a rigis pyrimid. I lived in England during the 80's and 90's as a kid. I have the feeling my parents bought the toy from Selfridges in London.

Wooden Toys from Kentucky I think.
There was a company called Woodkins Toys that made a number of wooden toys--I remember a VW Bug, some animals. I believe the company was in Kentuck or Tennessee in the 60s. The only Woodkins I find when I search is a recent foreign import. Do you have any suggestions of how I might find more information?
