Introduced in 1984, the ABC blocks from Montgomery Schoolhouse are classic alphabet blocks and have been available for 20 years. These blocks are used in classrooms and homes throughout the world. They have a proportion assortment of letters and numbers for words and making arithmetic combinations. Each block is printed with letters, numbers and illustrations such as a chair, tree, hat, duck, or telephone. They are cut from rock Maple and sanded smooth. They are easy to build and stack. Children enjoy playing with blocks. These blocks will be classics in your family for a long time to come.
In 1979, Mike Rainville founded Maple Landmark Woodcraft. Starting out as an after school hobby and growing into one of the largest solely domestic toy manufacturers in the US. Maple Landmark has always focused much of their attention on safety and the environment. All toys that are produces have been tested and meet the Federal safety standard. Maple Landmark is also a very “green” company: reusing boxes, accepting “shredded junk mail” and “peanuts” from local folks for packing, using wood that has been locally harvested from maintained forests, minimizing packing on all products, allowing locals to take our sawdust and scrap wood – at no charge, and using regionally sources non-toxic finishes. Maple Landmark also participates in employee education programs, voluntary air and noise quality testing programs, and several other community based charities. Maple Landmark is a member of Co-Op America, an organization for environmentally responsible businesses, and as well other community and Statewide groups.
