Your child will be impressed with his or her own name made up as part of a train and will thoroughly enjoy playing with it.  These letters are each about 2 ½” high and 3” long.  The NameTrain included an engine, a caboose and is compatible with other wooden train tracks and accessories.  Safe, simple magnets connect each car of the train.  This product is made in Vermont from New England maple.  The cars have a colorful non-toxic stain that allows the wood grain to show through.  Each car comes in six different colors – yellow, orange, red, blue, green, and purple. The engine is always black and the caboose is always red.  This product makes a wonderful gift.  It is a delightful product your child will want to keep for a long time.  The NameTrains are also available in a clear non-toxic finish and a pastel non-toxic paint finish.

In 1979, Mike Rainville founded Maple Landmark Woodcraft.  Starting out as an after school hobby and growing into one of the largest solely domestic toy manufacturers in the US.  Maple Landmark has always focused much of their attention on safety and the environment.  All toys that are produces have been tested and meet the Federal safety standard.  Maple Landmark is also a very “green” company: reusing boxes, accepting “shredded junk mail” and “peanuts” from local folks for packing, using wood that has been locally harvested from maintained forests, minimizing packing on all products, allowing locals to take our sawdust and scrap wood – at no charge, and using regionally sources non-toxic finishes. Maple Landmark also participates in employee education programs, voluntary air and noise quality testing programs, and several other community based charities. Maple Landmark is a member of Co-Op America, an organization for environmentally responsible businesses, and as well other community and Statewide groups.
